    About this item

    Caughley porcelain coffee cup and saucer. The cup with reeded body and indented loop handle, the saucer with fluted edge, decorated in the blue and gilt Dresden Flower pattern. Both pieces marked with a blue-painted letter S on the base.  (c.1790-92)

    Measurements:  cup height 6.7 cm, width (inc. handle) 8.7 cm;  saucer diameter 13.8 cm.

    Condition: cup good with no chips, cracks or other damage, no restoration and only slight wear to gilding on rim; saucer has no chips or restoration and the gilding is in good condition, but it does have a faint crack in the well that doesn't extend beyond the footrim.
