    About this item

A beautiful George IV coconut and silver cup, made in London by Robert Hennell in 1827. The cup has a silver gilt liner with an intricate acanthus leaf cast lip. The cup sits on three stylised birds with clawed feet. Which in turn are on a base with three scrolled feet. The coconut is intricately carved with geometric designs. There are a full set of hallmarks on the base.  This is a stunning piece of silver.
