About this item
A Victorian bread knife with a nicely carved, wooden handle. This is deeply carved with flowers and barley and the carving is still in very good condition. The blade is stamped ‘JOSEPH ********** CUTLER’ but the central part of the mark is really worn so you cannot make it out. It dates from c.1880. There are scratches on the blade, from use, but otherwise it is in very good condition.
