Georgian Cutlery Tray
Cuban mahogany tray with two divisions and serpentine top edge, the centre division with a through cut handle, the canted corners with dovetail joints.
English, circa 1780
Condition: Dark dense cuban mahogany of great colour, waxed to bring out its true colour. Some old repairs to the handle, you will note that one corner is lower than the others, it has lost its top edge, one corner with a chip to the base board.
