An old Country House cutlery set by Mappin & Webb, Circa 1914.

This splendid set comprises 12 large forks, 12 smaller forks, 12 dessert spoons, 12 extra large ivory bone handled knives and a pair of matching serving spoon and fork. All the forks and spoons are marked Mappin & Webb Princes Plate. The knives are engraved ‘Mappin & Webb Stainless Sheffield’ with ‘Patent’ engraved on the reverse to denote their patent for the new ‘stainless’ steel blades.
