A superb, extra tall, antique Baccarat amethyst then cut to clear crystal decanter with the original soaring ‘pyramid’ cut stopper, France. This exquisite jewel coloured piece of antique barware is in the Lagny pattern, which was first shown in the Baccarat 1916 catalogue of designs. Beautifully crafted, the stopper and decanter have the corresponding number 8 etched on the bases. The size is unusually large, and impressive 42.5cm high and, when not in use, the decanter makes a striking display.
