Antique Zenith Military Steel Pocket Watch Deck Watch Swiss 1943
An antique Zenith military steel open face pocket watch deck watch, made in Switzerland in 1943.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The military dial has a red inner ring for hours, minutes and decimals. So unusual about this dial is the tenth of a second mechanism. The dial has a blued and a red hand. Please see pictures of this fabulous military dial.
Movement: The high-grade Swiss made gilt frosted anchor lever escapement movement has 16 jewels, Breguet spiral, high swan regulator and compensated balance. The movement is signed: “Zenith, Swiss Made” and numbered: 3327938. Calibre number: 19-34-3-T. The movement is in great working condition; however, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy for an antique watch.
Case: The watch lies in a staybrite open face case with a smooth finish with military arrow and engraved: 0552/521-0243 7949. The inner side of the case is signed: “Zenith, Staybrite, Acier, Swiss Made” and numbered: 8286303.
