Omega Silver 0.800 Open Face Pocket Watch
Swiss 1920
An all-original open-faced silver 0.800 Omega pocket watch made in Switzerland in the 1920’s. The pocket watch is complete with silver chain.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and red 13–24-hour numbers. The dial has golden hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: “OMEGA” with the logo.
Movement: The high grade fifteen jewels, club lever escapement movement has a plain cock with polished steel regulator and blued steel over coil hairspring. The movement is decoratively signed: “Omega Watch Co Swiss, 15 Fifteen Jewels, Adj 2 Two Positions” and numbered: 6972323. The movement is in very good working condition; however, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy for an antique pocket watch.
Case: The watch lies in a silver 0.800 open face case with an engine turned finish with monogram-free cartouche. The inner side of the case is hallmarked for silver 0.800 and is signed: “Omega” with its logo and is numbered: 7850395. The outer side of the cuvette shows different medals and is decoratively signed: “Omega, Bienne - Geneve”. The inner side of the cuvette is numbered with the same number as the case and is also hallmarked for silver 0.800.
Signed: OMEGA - Swiss Made - 1920
