About this item
A fine quality antique solid silver ink stand with two heavy glass hexagonal
ink bottles with ornate hinged silver lids. The inkstand is of rectangular form
and stands on four impressive outswept scroll feet. The sides and back
have ornate pierced designs and there is a well for pens.
Overall condition is excellent. One bottle has a fine crack around part of its body
and there are tiny chips to the foot of the bottle.
Hallmarked to the base and the bottle lids London 1857
