A Very Rare And Fine 19th Century Irish Gothic Hall Or Antique Console Table

A very rare and fine 19th Century Irish Gothic oak hall or console marble top table, of exceptional quality and beautifully hand carved with rich patination, grain and with intricately carved blind fretwork detail throughout.  The gorgeous, moulded cream and gold Calcutta serpentine marble top of rectangular form is raised over a stunningly carved single drawer frieze with egg and dart border trim above centred plaque with foliate detail flanked with a fabulous arrangement of panels with Gothic arches, quatrefoil rosettes, flowerhead motif detail and with two further drawers to the sides.  Supported on two shaped supports to the rear and elegant tapering cabriole leg to the fore with scroll dial on knee, terminating on lion paw foot.
