Large 8vo. Full calf binding, five raised decorative bands to spine with gilt decoration to boards and spine and gilt lettering to title. Marbled end papers. Four, fold out chrono-genealogical charts of the different ‘ages’ of the world plus 8 engraved illustrations. 532pp. Book condition: Good. Marked and rubbed boards with scuffed corners and some external splitting to spine. Discolouration to pages and foxing to illustrations, but all intact and present and spine largely tight.
