    An amazing George IV silver gilt travelling inkwell. Made in London in 1828 by A. Douglas. It is in excellent undamaged condition even the glass is in great condition. There is a full set of hallmarks on the side and part marks on the lid and screw. This a very collectable piece of Georgian silver. The gilding is crisp and the seal on the lid is still tight.

    WEIGHT; 186 grams or 6 ozst approx including the glass.
