About this item
This seal has a base carved with an intaglio and was designed to be used with hot wax for sealing letters.
I have made an impression of this seal using hot wax to show that the seal works as intended and also to give a clearer image of the intaglio.
The wax impression comes in a small plastic case and is included with the seal
Please note that this is a small size seal. Perfect for a charm bracelet
This gilt metal seal has rectangular base set with a green bood stone and engraved with the intaglio of a mouse trap
The seal has an ornately carved base and handle topped with a suspension loop.
The seal measures 20mm x 10mm x 8mm and is in 90% mint condition –there are also traces of metal coming through the gilding
