porcelain bag trinket pot
Biscuit porcelain with green strung handles
English
Circa 1980s
Measures 11 cm high x 10.5 cm wide x 6 cm deep
Once upon a time Harrods Food Halls held a particular fascination and was a uniquely wonderful shopping experience. The sights and smells of Harrods Food Halls were truly a paradise. It was THE venue to find exotic and luxurious treats: often things could be seen nowhere else in England.
Times have changed, it's now possible to stock-up on civet coffee at the local corner shop or click-and-collect sugared almonds covered in 24-carat edible-gold but, joking apart, Harrods Food Halls will always have a certain cachet to those of a certain age.
Good condition. Slight wear to the green paint on the sides.
