About this item
A Victorian silver inkstand with two glass ink pots, a stamp box and a chamberstick. Overall it is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. All items are separately hallmarked for London 1895 and a makers mark for Charles Stewart Harris. The inkstand sits on four elaborately cast silver feet, the glass bottle holders and stamp box can be removed for cleaning, they are attached by individual screws. The chamberstick has a handle, a removeable sconce and and an attached snuffer. The silver lids of the glass pots have engraved initials and are fully hallmarked. A stunning piece fit for any desk and a great piece of Victorian silver.
