About this item
This Bentwood stained beech carver chair has an attractive patterned seat and bentwood detailing.
The chair has been cleaned and wax polished, otherwise left as is with its aged patina.
It is in good useable condition. They make ideal desk chairs.
The original designer of bentwood was 'Thonet', but but many other companies have also made bentwood furniture over the years.
Thonet chairs are usually stamped on the underside or have a paper label. This one has the remains of a label, but it's indistinct.
