Antique Mahogany Pedestal Desk

A well proportioned Victorian antique mahogany pedestal desk. The antique pedestal desk has a rectangular shaped top with a blue leather inset writing surface. The mahogany desk has an arrangement of nine drawers around the central kneehole, each with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. The antique desk is raised on castors. A particularly pleasing example, with a rich colour throughout. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the sides, top and front (pictured), there is further fading to the leather writing surface (pictured). There are also shrinkage splits to the top and back (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique mahogany pedestal desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Comes apart in three sections for ease of transport. Overall, a great example of its kind.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection and admin fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
