Antique Oak Partners Desk, circa 1860 - Reference: SN820

This handsome mid 19th century partners desk has well figured oak timbers.

The top is fitted an antique burgundy leather with gilt and blind tooling surrounded by a band of oak with a thumb moulded edge.

Below this to the front the desk is fitted three drawers.

They are mahogany lined, have hand cut dovetail joints, brass locks, ogee moulded front edges and turned wooden knobs.

The back is fitted with three faux drawers.

The pedestals are each fitted three graduated drawers to the front and cupboard with shelf to the reverse and stand on plinth bases with hidden castors.

As with most partners desks it is made in three sections for ease of movement and installation.

The desk has been cleaned and wax polished and is ready for use.

It would make a good focal point in a traditional or contemporary setting.

A replacement leather is available at an additional cost.
