A very fine 19th Century Irish set of twelve dining chairs by 'Strahan of Dublin'. The well figured, moulded mahogany frame with an elegantly curved balloon back raised over cushioned seat upholstered in velvet, above fluted apron. Supported on out-splayed legs to the rear and beautifully hand carved, tapering ring turned baluster legs to the fore with fluted detail, terminating on brass and ceramic casters. Stamped and numbered 'Strahan of Dublin'.
