About this item
A good set of 6 antique Dutch marquetry inlaid mahogany dining chairs. The shaped curved rails and uprights having exotic foliate marquetry inlay with boxwood and fruitwood veneers. The stuff over seats retaining all the original horse hair and hessian etc. and just need re-covering. The chairs are raised on subtle sabre front legs with conforming foliate inlay. The chairs are in excellent condition, all joints are tight with no damage. Dimensions:- Height…35''/ 89cm. Width…17.75''/ 45cm. Depth…19''/ 48cm. Seat Height…18.5''/ 47cm.
