The Jones family where furniture/cabinet makers from Liverpool 1787-1838.Thomas Jones a member of that family trading Webster Street 1818 listed as a chair maker,this pair of quality dining chairs are stamped with his name.sabre legs to the rear and turned reeded legs for the front two,large concave back support.shaped over padded seat covered in dusky rose coloured draylon.These two chairs are very strong in construction and are sturdy and sound in all respects.fine first class example of a regency chair.
