    A rare late 17th century (circa 1680) joined oval oak gateleg table of small proportions with superb original patina - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

    This table consists of a solid oval oak top with original patina all supported on an oak base with turned baluster supports and trestle foot below with single gates.

    This table is a very versatile piece, is in very good original condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.

    Reference: a near identical example can be found in the book ‘Oak Furniture The British Tradition’ by Victor Chinnery, Page: 307 figure: 3:221
