About this item
The solid mahogany top of breakfront outline and a raised brass gallery with satinwood crossbanded detail. The frieze having a central lockable rectangular drawer with flaming urn decoration, attendant griffins and foliate marquetry and pen-work detail, with further ribbon and swag detail to the ends. The three rectangular doors each with evelled glass and opening to reveal an adjustable glass shelved interior and relined in fine quality watermarked silk. The doors also having the finest marquetry and pen-work panels depicting dolphins and foliate inlaid detail, with evelled glass ends. The whole supported on splayed feet. This cabinet has been constructed using the finest fiddle back mahogany throughout.
