Biography researched and prepared by MastheadArt
Her full name was Anne Marie Rosy Andreasi, born at the very end of 1934 in Chatillon, Paris. Died 2015 in Lesigny, Seine-et-Marne. Andreasi attended the highly respected École de Duperré in Paris and the collection of her work we are currently selling dates from this time, some of the sheets were dated early-mid 1950s. Most sheets were signed, and came in her own original art portfolio with her own identification label. Whilst studying, she lived at 4, Rue des Pavillons, Chatillon sous Bagneux, just south of the River Seine in Paris, in the 20th arrondissement. Andreasi went on to work for major name French magazines illustrating fashion, and eventually served as Editor in Chief for "L'Officiel de la couture et de la mode de Paris" - a magazine which around the 1950's, with haute couture's revival, was considered the most influential magazine in French fashion.
