    Framed etching by Ernest Archibald Taylor 1874-1951. Signed in pencil. A Scottish artist, trained at Glasgow school of art, co-founder of Parisian art school Shearling Atelier, later settling in Galloway (where his work gained confidence and featured local life in western Scotland). 
    This charming etching on paper features a fisherman collecting oysters in Loch Ryan, Dumfries & Galloway. Loch Ryan hosts the oldest and only wild oyster beds in Scotland, granted to the Wallace family by King William III in 1701
