    An original and complete early 19th century painted Irish dresser, the upper section with ogee cornice above a pierced stylised celtic freize, three shelves with original retaining bars, the lower shelf with pierced half freize, the lower section with "T" panelled doors the whole with beautiful untouched painted surface of red ochre interior and exceptionally rare Irish green exterior.

    Originally made in County Galway, West of Ireland

    Irish circa  1820

    Provenance: Count and Countess Csaky, Mill House, Sonning, Berkshire sold Christies house sale June 1994
