About this item
A delightful antique Sitzendorf oval porcelain framed mirror with ornate decoration comprising three cherubs and flowers. Made by Sitzendorf, Germany, in the late 19th century. The maker's mark is shown on the frame edge near the top. The factory was known for its highly decorated porcelain in the style of Meissen.
This is a dressing table mirror which has three cherubs holding flowers. The bevel edge mirror is framed by a border of delicate flowers and leaves, softly coloured with gilded accents.
The mirror itself is perfect. The cherub at the bottom left has had one wing repaired. The other cherubs are perfect. The back stand is in tact and the mirror could also be hung if desired.
Perfect for a shelf or exquisite on a dressing table. Would. Are a wonderful gift.
