An C18th Oak Wainscot Chair.
A Wainscot chair is a type of chair which was commonly made in the 17th and 18th centuries in Britain and America. Usually made of oak, the name derives from the fine grade of oak which was used at the time for wainscot panelling.
The oak has a wonderful depth of colour and would look fabulous in a hallway
