    An exceptional Japanese embroidery of wading feeding Cranes amongst flowering bullrushes. Exquisitely worked in fine silks of muted colours yet not faded by sunlight, sewn onto a pale dove grey silk background. There are no tears or stains whatsoever. In it's original ebonized frame under glass. Made around 1900 for the European market. It is the very best of its type ..... simply stunning.
