    About this item

Very rare example of a wooden carved Indian statue. The Indian in the 19th century was used to identify a tobacconist or a cigar store so some of the higher class stores had an Indian like this example stood outside as a trade mark. Beautifully carved and well aged. Ridiculously heavy at 6ft tall a very impressive figure.
    condition

some damage to the shoulder and arm and some to the base but a very rare survivor and a very nice example.

any questions please feel free to contact me
