About this item
A nicely sculptured bronze figure of a seated boy removing a thorn from the underneath of his foot...it has gained a very good natural patina and is in excellent condition....this bronze is also known as 'Spinario' or 'Boy with Thorn' and there are examples of this bronze in the Palazzo die Conservatori, Rome and the Medici collection, Florence.
