About this item
A trio of money boxes in the form of miniature stove heaters, dating to the 1930s. These were advertising pieces issued by the Belgian manufacturers of the stoves. The largest was made by Fobrux, and the two smaller by Ciney. They are all made of cast iron with an enamel finish. The back plates can be unscrewed to allow pennies to be retrieved.
The Fobrux model measures 13.2cm x 12.5cm x 7.2cm. The brown Ciney model mesures 11.2cm x 9.2cm x 7cm, and the grey Ciney model mesures 9cm x 11cm x 8.7cm.
All pieces are in good original condition with minor chipping to the enamel and minor wear to the chrome.
