About this item
A fabulous 19th Century three panel brass fire screen, of exceptional quality, fully restored and of wide and grand proportions. The curved and shaped protective wire mesh is set within a beautifully detailed polished, three panel cast brass frame with intricately detailed motifs comprising of beading, scrolling foliate, flowerheads, ruffles and c-scroll detail throughout. The central panel surmounted with gorgeous stylised foliate crest, with a further arrangement repeated to the apron, supported on elegant out-scrolling legs.
