About this item
A decorative pair of rococo revival porcelain vases by Coalport, c.1835-1840. Flared with pierced details, irregular sawtooth rims and ornate entwined swan neck style side handles and large shaped scrolls to the upper half. Each side has two large intricate porcelain flowers. The lower part is coloured in a bright blue enamel ground, set on four heavily scrolled feet fixed to a quatrefoil base. Painted panels of garden flowers and lots of gilding to the scrolls, base and rims. Unmarked.

They measure 22.5cm (8 7/8") high and 17.8cm (7") by 17.8cm (7") wide.
In very good condition with no damage bar a short tight hairline to the rim of one and very minor chips to the petals, mainly just to the pink daisy. The handles and scrolled shapes are all fine. No repairs or restoration.
