This is a large antique coal bucket. An English, delightfully weathered copper fireside scuttle, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.
Superb fireside bucket with appealing finish and generous proportion. Displays a desirable aged patina throughout. Aged copper blessed with a hand-beaten texture and hints of verdigris. Articulated handle rotates within open quarterfoil hinges. Broad rim accommodates fireside tools with ease

This is a dashing antique coal bucket, strikingly patinated and useful for all fuel types. Delivered polished and ready to sit alongside the fireplace.
