Silver plated picnic sandwich box. A very nice quality example by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield (one of the better makers). Well engineered lid with a double hinge, opening out amost flat. Carrying handle at the side.
Condition:-
In good condition, very small dents to one side and one corner. Light surface wear. The plate in good shape with a few speckles. Gilt washed interior with some signs of usage as expected, but all-in-all a bright, intact and highly practical example.
