This is an antique drawing room lamp. An English, brass adjustable standard lamp, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Imposing and wonderfully robust lamp with great color
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Brass shows superb golden hues throughout
Pleasingly heavy, with an impressively weighted base
Tasteful vintage shade in dark green with reflective golden interior
Lamp adjustable in height with a maximum of 176.5cm (69.5") - minus shade
Appealing Art Nouveau overtones with foliate motif decorations
Standing upon a trio of distinctive hairy paw feet with cabochon knees
Supplied with a generous length of quality cable and British Standards compliant 3-pin plug
The mount accepts a standard bayonet bulb
