A very attractive and neatly completed cigar band decoupage plate. The pottery plate beneath is an unmarked white Staffordshire china plate dating to the 1930's.
A type of folk-art 'tobacciana' decoration was popular in the early 20th Century. These now make a fascinating wall decorations for a country house billiards or games room.
