A well very proportioned 19th Century slipper chair. Most likely made in Scotland.
Raised on turned front legs and all legs on original castors (stamped D.M & sons with a crown above)
The chair makers mark, which is seldom seen, reads “J.Whitehead” and we can either offer the chair as it is or have it upholstered in a fabric of your choice.
Condition report:
This stripped back slipper chair is in great condition and is probably Scottish in origin.
