A very attractive and neatly completed cigar band decoupage plate. The pottery plate beneath is a New Hall, Hanley, Staffs plate dating to the 1930's.
This type of 'tobacciana' folk-art decoration was popular in the early 20th Century. Would now make a fascinating wall decoration for a country house billiards or games room.
