    A remarkably characterful, folk art carving of a lion. The mouth open showing bone teeth. The mane rendered in a highly innovative pattern of pyramidal triangles. The sculpture's painted polychrome surface and original detailing largely intact with some losses and surface wear, commensurate with age.
