    About this item

A very striking Japanese painting on silk of a snarling tiger, dating to around the 1950s to 1970s. It has been beautifully done with lots of detail to the tiger's fur, with some gold highlighting. The colours are made all the more vivid by their contrast with the black background. The artist's signature, in oriental characters, as at the bottom left-hand side. The painting is framed behind glass in a stained wood frame. It is ready to hang in your home.

It is in good condition with minor wear to the frame. There are some reflections in the glass in the photos.
