    About this item

An unusual, boldly decorated, polychrome Dutch Delft plate. This dates from c.1780. It is naively decorated with a chinoiserie landscape and buildings. The colour combination of manganese, iron red, ochre and green, without any blue, is quite unusual. There is minor wear to the rim, which is quite normal with Delft due to the soft nature of the glaze, and there are two rim chips. This can all be seen in the images.

    Dimensions: Diameter 22.5cm. Depth 3.4cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
