About this item
A superb quality, French crystal bowl on stand dating from c.1860. This is made from a very heavy crystal and the design is well cut. The bowl has a thick foot, with a star cut to the base. The stem has a flying sauce shaped knop and there are two different cut bands to the bowl, one wide and one narrow. The stand has the same cut design to the base with the narrow, cut band to the rim. It is a very pleasing design overall and both the bowl and stand are in excellent condition.
