French Louis Philippe period (1830-48) archtop mirror with etched lemon gold frame decorated with geometric diamond and lozenge design. Where this mirror has been dusted for more than 150 years, the gilding has thinned allowing the black bole to show through, giving the frame an interesting patination. The original mercury mirror is in excellent condition and sparkles beautifully when it catches the light.
