About this item
A large oval mirror in the Louis XVI taste, dating to the 19th Century. Nicely detailed, and decorated with flowers, scrolls and palmette decoration, all with its original bevelled mirror plate. Original old gilt finish, now nicely rubbed in places back to the red bole. The old mirror plate is slightly distressed in places in common with many older mirrors.
