Small antique rectangular silverleafed framed mirror

Small, rectangular, antique French mirror, circa 1840, with wide, partly burnished, partly matt, silverleafed frame, the central, outcurving section of which has a leaf and flower etching. Where this mirror has been dusted for nearly two centuries, the black bole beneath the silverleaf is showing through, giving the mirror frame a mixed dark grey and silver patina. The original, mercury glass matches the patination of the frame perfectly and still gives a fair reflection.
