Booklets on gaming counters

Very little information is available about the history and production of gaming counters: Derek Cowan produced a section on them in Dale Seymour's book 'Antique Gamblibng Chips' and there is also a very interesting section in the introduction to David Howard's 'Chinese Armorial Porcelain' Volume II but neither of these is readily available. So these two booklets are just about all there is! The first booklet is 30 pages long with over one hundred counters illustrated and it deals with the different styles, borders and shapes of counters. The second deals in more detail with armorial counters and once again over one hundred are illustrated. I would suggest that the two complement eachother. Postage worldwide is included in the price and they come signed and dedicated if you wish.
