The last one available of this amazing set of deep-carved counters. Exceptional artwork on very thick m-o-p. A really special order from Canton for the Groom family with deep-carved crest of an armoured arm embowed grasping a gauntlet with a suspended penon on which there is a pile with a cross crosslet. Amazing detail to the carving: six characters to the front and eight to the reverse - plus a very rare horse. Superb bright m-o-p. A fabulous counter. It is most unusual to see this amount of detail to a deep-carved counter.
