About this item
Early 20th century wide gilt framed Italian mirror with outset corners. The frame is decorated with a punched design of scrolling stems set within an etched geometric border. Through many years of dusting, the gilding has lightly thinned revealing the terracotta bole beneath giving the mirror frame a lovely warm colour. The original mirror plate is in very good condition with just a tiny hint of age.
